The Sint Maarten is a constituent country of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. When the Netherlands Antilles was dissolved on October 10, 2010, Sint Maarten, Curaçao and the Caribbean Netherlands were created. Sint Maarten is located on the southern part of the island of Saint Martin. The northern part of the island is occupied by Saint Martin, an overseas collectivity belonging to France.
